Apartment Moves in Al Nahda 1 and 2 and Al Nahda Sharjah
Delight Movers UAE are movers and packers in Al Nahda — on both sides of the Dubai–Sharjah border. We move apartments and family homes in Al Nahda 1 and 2 in Dubai and in Al Nahda Sharjah, and plan Dubai–Sharjah moves around the border traffic.
From tower apartments near Al Nahda metro to moves between emirates, our crews pack, move and set up with a fixed quote after a free survey.
Know the community
Al Nahda straddles the border. Al Nahda 1 and 2 are Dubai communities, next to Al Qusais and Al Mamzar; Al Nahda Sharjah is a separate district across the border.

Short- and long-term storage when your move-out and move-in dates don’t match.
Permits and paperwork
Most towers on both sides ask you to book your move with building management. The rest depends on the emirate.
Book the move and lift with your building, then cancel or register Ejari and close or open your DEWA account.
Book the move with your building. In Sharjah the tenancy contract is attested by Sharjah Municipality and electricity and water come from SEWA — the Digital Sharjah “Move In” service (UAE Pass login) handles both together.
Settle paperwork in both places: close the old tenancy and utilities, and register the new ones. The step-by-step list below shows the order.
Ask management for the move form, lift booking and permitted hours early.
Access and timing
Al Nahda sits on the Dubai–Sharjah corridor, where Al Ittihad Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) back up most weekday mornings near Al Nahda, Al Taawun and Al Qusais. Both emirates also restrict trucks on some roads, so the direction you travel decides the best start time.

Sharjah-to-Dubai traffic is heaviest in the morning and Dubai-to-Sharjah in the evening. A mid-morning start usually misses both.
Larger trucks are kept off Al Ittihad Road for most of the day, and Emirates Road towards Sharjah has an evening restriction. We route the truck on roads it is allowed to use at that hour.
Saturdays and Sundays are usually quieter on the border roads, but book early — weekends fill first.
Many leases end at month-end, when lifts and crews are busiest.
How it works
A clear plan from survey to the last box unpacked.
In person or by video — we check volume, access, parking and anything that needs crating.
A written quote, crew size and truck plan for your moving window.
You book the move with your building; we supply our licence, truck and crew details.
Room-by-room packing, with floors, lifts and corridors protected before anything moves.
Loading in sequence, transport, reassembly and placement to your plan, with packing waste removed.
Local problems
Al Nahda Dubai and Al Nahda Sharjah are minutes apart, but a move here runs into problems you don’t get elsewhere in Dubai.
Weekday mornings and evenings jam Al Ittihad Road and the E311 around Al Nahda and Sahara Centre. A truck stuck in it eats into your lift booking.
The shortest road between the two Al Nahdas is not always one a loaded truck may use during the day. We plan the route before we give you a start time.
Dubai uses Ejari and DEWA; Sharjah uses municipality attestation and SEWA. Moving between them means closing one system and opening the other.
Al Nahda is mostly residential towers, and lift slots go fast at the end of the month when many leases end. Book the lift when you book the movers.
Tower car parks and side streets are busy. We confirm where the truck can stand and how long the carry is at the survey.
Sharjah to Dubai
The most common Al Nahda move crosses the border. Do the paperwork in this order so you are not left without electricity on moving day, or with an open account in Sharjah.
Al Nahda 1 and 2 are in Dubai; buildings around Sahara Centre are in Sharjah. Your tenancy contract shows which emirate the new home is in.
Your Dubai landlord or agent registers the lease with Ejari. Your DEWA account is linked to it — pay the deposit and the connection is activated, so do this a few days before the move.
Ask both building managements for their move form, lift booking and permitted hours. We send our company documents, truck and crew details for the forms.
Request the final SEWA reading for your moving date, pay the final bill and keep the clearance. Open Sharjah tenancies and unpaid bills can cause problems later, so get it in writing.
We load in Sharjah after the morning rush and drive into Dubai on a permitted route, with fuel and tolls already included in the quoted price.
Going from Dubai to Sharjah? Cancel the Ejari and close DEWA (the two are linked), then have the Sharjah contract attested and open SEWA through Digital Sharjah’s “Move In” service.
