Apartment, Room, Office and Shop Moves Across Deira
Delight Movers UAE are movers and packers in Deira, Dubai — one of the city's busiest and oldest districts. Deira moves need careful planning: dense streets, limited parking, older buildings and busy roads around the Creek and Airport Road. We check lifts, parking and loading at the survey and time your move around the traffic.
Whether you're moving a studio in Al Rigga, a family apartment in Al Muraqqabat or a shop near the souks, our crews pack, move and set up with a fixed quote.

Moving services
From a single room to a whole office.

Studios and family apartments packed, moved and set up — within Deira, across Dubai or to another emirate.

Moving a room or a few items? We offer small moves with the right-sized truck and crew.

Offices, shops and souk stores moved after hours or early in the morning, with stock and fixtures labelled for quick reopening.

Furniture dismantling and assembly, plus storage when your move-out and move-in dates don’t line up.
Permits and paperwork
Most Deira buildings ask you to book your move with building management, and every residential move involves Ejari and DEWA.
Ask your building management how to book a move slot and the lift, and whether they need a form or NOC.
Moving out? Cancel Ejari and clear your final DEWA bill (district cooling, if any, is closed separately). Moving in? Register Ejari so your DEWA connection can be activated.
Check your lease terms and the landlord’s handover conditions before moving out of commercial premises — and plan the trade licence address change (see the shop and office checklist below).
We check lift size, stairs and where the truck can stop during the survey, so there are no surprises on the day.
Access and timing
The RTA keeps trucks off some Deira roads at peak times — on roads such as Airport Road the restrictions have covered the morning, midday and evening peaks. Add delivery traffic, souk crowds and Friday prayers, and the hour you load matters as much as the day.

An early start means the truck is loaded before the morning restriction, before shops open and before delivery vans take every kerb space.
Most public parking in Deira is paid Monday to Saturday and generally free on Sunday, so it is easier to keep a space near the door for the truck. Check the signs — multi-storey car parks charge every day.
Streets around mosques fill up for Friday prayers. We keep loading and unloading away from that window.
Moves across the Creek or towards the airport and Mirdif are timed around the truck restriction windows.
From mid-June to mid-September outdoor work stops between 12:30 and 3pm. We start early so most of the carrying is done before it.
Many leases end at month-end, when lifts and crews are busiest. Mid-month weekdays give the widest choice of dates.

Local problems
Deira is one of Dubai’s oldest districts. The buildings, streets and parking were not designed for a moving truck, so the problems are different from a tower move in Business Bay or a villa move in Mirdif.
Tell us three things when you ask for a quote: your floor, whether there is a working service lift, and how far from the entrance a truck can stop. Those three answers decide the crew size, the time and the price — and they are the things that change the price on the day when a mover doesn’t ask.
Many older mid-rise buildings have one small passenger lift, or none. Wardrobes, beds and sofas are dismantled and wrapped for the stairwell, and the crew is sized for the carry.
In Naif, Al Rigga and around the souks there is often nowhere legal to stop at the door. We find the nearest legal loading spot at the survey and plan the carry from there, or use a smaller vehicle.
Most public parking is paid Monday to Saturday and generally free on Sunday. A Sunday or early-morning move makes it easier to hold a space for the truck.
Many Deira moves are a single room or a few items. We send the right-sized truck and two movers instead of pricing a whole apartment.
Stock, shelving and display units are counted and labelled by section, and moved after closing or early in the morning, before the souk gets busy.
Shops and offices
Deira is full of small trading businesses, and moving one is more than moving boxes — the lease, the licence and the stock all need to line up so you can open again quickly.
For mainland businesses, the licence address is normally updated with the Department of Economy and Tourism once the new lease is registered. Some trades, such as food businesses, may need other approvals for the new premises first. Check with your business setup adviser before you sign.
Many commercial leases ask for the unit back in its original condition — signage, partitions and fittings removed. Read the clause early so it is done before the keys go back.
We disconnect, pack, move and set up your computers and equipment. Network, data and phone lines stay with your IT team or provider, so book them for the day you reopen.
Short moves within Deira can often be done in one evening. Moves to Al Qusais, Sharjah or another emirate are planned around the truck restrictions on the main roads.

We supply our trade licence, truck and crew details for your building or community permit.
Early starts, evenings, weekends and public holidays, within your building’s permitted hours.
Rooms, studios and a few items moved with the right-sized truck and crew.

Popular moves from Deira go to Al Nahda, Mirdif, Al Qusais, Bur Dubai and Sharjah.
Yes. We handle small moves with the right-sized truck and crew, as well as full apartments.
Stairs take more crew and more time, so they are part of the quote. Tell us your floor at booking; at the survey we check the stairwell and turns, plan which furniture is dismantled, and size the crew. The price on the written quote is the price on the day — see will the price change on moving day.
At the survey we find the nearest legal loading spot, since stopping in no-stopping zones risks a fine. Sunday and early-morning moves make kerb space easier to find, because most public parking is free on Sunday and streets are quieter early.
Usually yes — the licence address has to match your new premises. For mainland businesses this is normally done with the Department of Economy and Tourism after the new lease is registered. Check the steps for your activity before moving day.
Yes. Inter-emirate moves are planned end to end, including timing around peak traffic.
Yes, usually early in the morning, after hours or at weekends, to keep trading disruption low.
Urgent moves within 24–48 hours are possible when crews are available. For a normal apartment, book about a week ahead, or 1–2 weeks at month-end.
Most buildings ask you to book the move and the lift with management. Check their form and timing early.
Yes — with special crates, padding and careful handling.
