Apartment, Office and Furniture Moves Along the Dubai Canal
Delight Movers UAE are movers and packers in Business Bay for apartments, penthouses and offices. Business Bay is a business district of more than 230 towers along the Dubai Canal, where homes and offices often share service lifts and loading bays — so we plan your permit, lift slot and truck access before moving day.
From Executive Towers and Bay Square to the canal-front towers, our crews pack, move and set up homes and offices with a fixed quote after a free survey.
Know the community
Business Bay’s master developer is Dubai Properties, but most towers were built by other developers and run by their own management — so move rules differ from building to building.

Short- and long-term storage when your move-out and move-in dates don’t line up.
Permits and paperwork
Yes. Almost every Business Bay tower needs a move permit and a booked service lift. Who issues it depends on who manages your building.
Buildings managed by Dubai Properties, such as Executive Towers, use its move permit, applied for in the RealConnect app. Apply at least two working days ahead. Dubai Properties has published moving hours of Saturday to Thursday, 8am to 7pm, so a Friday move is unlikely to be approved. Move-out permits are only issued once community service charges are paid.
Towers built by other developers issue their own permits through building or owners’ association management — some ask for a refundable deposit.
Lift and loading-bay slots are booked with the permit and can be scarce in busy mixed-use towers, so book early.
Moving out? Clear service charges, cancel Ejari and close your DEWA account. Moving in? Register Ejari so your permit and DEWA connection can be issued.
Access and timing
Dubai restricts larger trucks on some roads at busy times — including Sheikh Zayed Road during the day — so we time the Dubai end of your move around them.

Bays are shared with offices and shops, so we confirm the slot and truck height in advance.
In mixed-use towers, homes and offices share lifts — early or weekend moves are often smoother.
Evening and weekend office moves keep your business running.
Many leases end at month-end, when lifts and crews are busiest.
How it works
A clear plan from survey to the last box unpacked.
In person or by video — we check volume, access, lifts and anything that needs crating.

You apply for the permit (Dubai Properties or your building); we supply our licence, truck and crew details.
Room-by-room packing, with floors, lifts and corridors protected before anything moves.
Loading in sequence, transport, reassembly and placement to your plan, with packing waste removed.
Building guide
Business Bay has more than 230 towers from dozens of developers. Two towers on the same street can have completely different move rules.
The first question is who manages your building. It decides where you apply, when you can move and what deposit, if any, you pay.
Executive Towers and other Dubai Properties buildings. Permit in the RealConnect app, moves Saturday to Thursday in published hours. Executive Towers sits above the Bay Avenue mall, so ask which loading area and hours residents can use.
Most Business Bay towers. The owners’ association or management company issues the permit and books the lift, and some ask for a refundable deposit.
Offices and homes share one service lift. Weekday office hours are the busiest, so early, evening or weekend slots (where allowed) move faster.
Towers along Marasi Drive and the Dubai Canal face a promenade where trucks can’t stop. Loading is from the rear or basement, which can mean a longer carry.
Residences run by hotels share entrances and lifts with guests. Expect tighter hours and a supervisor from the building during the move.
When a new tower is handed over, many owners and tenants move in at once and lift slots go quickly. Building work nearby can also change road access. Book early.
Moving-day timing
Business Bay sits between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road, two of Dubai’s busiest roads. Timing decides how much of your lift slot is spent loading and how much is spent in traffic.
Month-end is when leases end and lift slots run out. In Dubai Properties buildings, Friday moves are usually not allowed.
Al Khail Road and the Business Bay exits slow down at rush hour, and accidents near the Business Bay Crossing can add a lot of time. We plan the truck’s route and start time around the peak.
Dubai restricts larger trucks on Sheikh Zayed Road during the day. We route the truck so it arrives inside your slot without using a restricted road.
In mixed-use towers, office deliveries fill the service lift during the working day. Early slots, or weekend slots where your building allows them, are faster.
Office moves run in the evening or at the weekend within your building’s commercial moving hours, which can be different from its residential hours.
From mid-June to mid-September outdoor work stops from 12:30 to 3pm. We start early so loading is done before the break.

They can — Sheikh Zayed Road has daytime truck limits. We plan the route and timing around them.
Dubai Properties buildings such as Executive Towers use the RealConnect app. Apply at least two working days before the move. Other Business Bay towers have their own management, so ask them for their form.
Plan on no. Stopping on the main road to load blocks traffic and can bring a fine, and the canal promenade isn’t open to trucks. Canal-front towers load from a rear or basement bay. We check where your bay is, and how tall a truck it takes, at the survey.
No. Local moves are priced per job, not per hour, so waiting for a shared lift doesn’t add to the bill. See will the price change on moving day.
Usually service charges, Ejari cancellation and your final DEWA bill — then the move-out permit can be issued.
