Home, Villa and Office Moves in Every Dubai Community
Delight Movers UAE are movers and packers in Dubai for apartments, villas and offices in every community — from Dubai Marina towers and Palm Jumeirah villas to Deira, Mirdif and Dubai Silicon Oasis. Every Dubai move depends on your building or community rules, Ejari and DEWA, and the city's truck timings, so we plan all of it with you before moving day.
Our crews pack, move and set up your home or office with a fixed quote after a free survey — within Dubai or to any emirate.
Know the community
Every part of Dubai moves differently. Choose your community for local permits, access and tips.
Dubai Marina, JLT, Downtown Dubai and Business Bay — permits, service lifts and loading bays.
Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Hills and Mirdif — gates, gardens and larger homes.
Al Quoz and Dubai Silicon Oasis — warehouses, offices and free-zone businesses.

Permits and paperwork
Three things decide whether moving day runs smoothly: your tenancy registration, your utilities and your building or community permit.
Dubai tenancy contracts are registered in Ejari, usually by the tenant or agent through the Dubai REST app, with the landlord’s approval. Moving out? Cancel your Ejari.
Once Ejari is registered, DEWA sends your account number and the security deposit to pay (currently AED 2,000 for an apartment and AED 4,000 for a villa). The new connection can only go live once the previous tenant has closed their account — ask your landlord or agent to confirm it before moving day. Moving out, book the final reading and clear the final bill so your deposit comes back.
Most communities and towers need a move permit — Emaar (Sakani or Emaar One), Nakheel (My Nakheel) and Dubai Properties (RealConnect) have their own processes, and other towers are handled by building management. See your community page above for details.
The most common reason a permit is refused. Developers won't issue a move-in or move-out permit while service charges on the unit are outstanding — and they are usually the owner's charges, not the tenant's. Ask your landlord to confirm they are cleared before you fix a date.
In many towers the permit and the service-lift slot are two separate approvals — a permit alone won't get you the lift. Book the slot, get it in writing, and we plan the crew so the move fits it.
Return keys and access cards to your landlord or their agent against a signed receipt, not to building security — it is your proof of the date you handed the property back.
Access and timing
Dubai restricts trucks on several main roads — including daytime limits on Sheikh Zayed Road and peak-hour limits on others — while Emirates Road stays open. We plan routes and start times around the current rules.

Routes are chosen to avoid restricted roads and peak windows.
Early starts beat traffic, lift queues and the summer heat.
We avoid big event days when roads close, such as New Year’s Eve around Downtown.
Many leases end at month-end, when lifts and crews are busiest.
How it works
A clear plan from survey to the last box unpacked.
In person or by video — we check volume, access, lifts and anything that needs crating.
A written quote, crew size and truck plan for your moving window.
You handle Ejari and apply for the community or building permit; we supply our licence, truck and crew details.
Room-by-room packing, with floors, lifts and corridors protected before anything moves.
Loading in sequence, transport, reassembly and placement to your plan, with packing waste removed.
No-surprises price
No. The most common complaint about Dubai movers is a price that goes up once the furniture is on the truck. Our quote is fixed after a free survey, and it says in writing what you are paying for.
Local moves are priced on volume, access, distance and services. A slow lift or traffic on the day doesn't add hours to your bill.
If you add items or the access is not what we surveyed, the team leader stops and tells you the cost first. Work on the extra only goes ahead once you have agreed it in writing. Items on the survey list are already covered by the fixed price.
A booking confirmation holds your date and the balance is paid on completion — by bank transfer, card or online payment against a VAT invoice. Pay only to the company account. Our crew will never ask you for cash.
Cancellation and date-change terms are written on your quote, so you know them before you book. If your building permit is delayed, tell us as early as possible and we move you to the next available slot.
Moving-day timing
Typical times for a full move with packing, from the first box to the last piece of furniture placed. We confirm your crew size and timing in the quote, so you know before the day whether it is a morning or a full day.

Floor level, lift slots, how much is packed and the distance all change the time. In summer we start early and follow the midday outdoor-work break from mid-June to mid-September.
If something goes wrong
Careful packing prevents most damage, but you should know the claim process before you book, not after. Every box is labelled and numbered, and the inventory is shared with you, so there is a record to check against.
The team leader checks the box count with you and does a final walk-through before the crew leaves. Point out anything you notice there and then.
Send the damage to your move coordinator in writing, with photos, within 48 hours of delivery.
Your coordinator, the same person who planned the move, reviews the report against the inventory and the job notes.
Under your quote's terms, or your insurance cover, we arrange a repair, a replacement or compensation.
Transit insurance is available on request; we explain what it covers and what it costs before you book. If you took cover, we help you file the claim.
Verify before you pay
Some customers pay an advance to a mover who never turns up. Others pay a company with a name close to a well-known one. Run through this list before you pay any mover, including us.
