The Boulevard
Residential towers along the Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard loop around Burj Lake.

Apartment, Penthouse and Office Moves Around the Boulevard
Delight Movers UAE are movers and packers in Downtown Dubai for apartments, penthouses and offices. Downtown is an Emaar community of high-rise towers around Burj Lake and the Boulevard, so every move needs an Emaar move permit, a booked service lift and careful timing around Boulevard traffic and events.
From the Opera District to the towers along Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, our crews pack, move and set up your home with a fixed quote after a free survey.
Know the community
Downtown Dubai is a 500-acre Emaar master development. Its towers share busy streets, lifts and loading bays.
Residential towers along the Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard loop around Burj Lake.
Newer high-rise residences next to Dubai Opera, many over 50 floors.
Residences, offices and hotels around Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall.
Many Downtown moves go to or from Business Bay across Al Khail Road.
Moving services
High-rise moves, done carefully.

Studios to penthouses moved floor-to-door, with lifts, corridors and floors protected and everything set up in your new home.

Full or partial packing, with designer furniture, art and glass wrapped or crated for the long lift ride down.

After-hours and weekend office moves for Downtown and Business Bay companies.

Short- and long-term storage when your move-out and move-in dates don’t match.
Permits and paperwork
Yes. Downtown Dubai is an Emaar community, so you need an Emaar move-in or move-out permit before moving day.
Downtown Dubai is an Emaar community. Apply through Emaar’s resident services — the Sakani portal or the Emaar One app.
With complete documents, permits are often issued within about one business day. Apply a few days ahead to be safe.
Outstanding charges on the unit usually need to be cleared before a move-out permit is issued.
The form asks for the moving company and a supervisor’s contact — we send ours as soon as you book.
Moving out? Cancel Ejari and clear your final DEWA bill (district cooling, if any, is closed separately). Moving in? Register Ejari so your permit and DEWA connection can be issued.
Access and timing
Downtown streets are among the busiest in Dubai, so timing makes the move.

We size the crew so the move finishes inside your building’s lift booking.
We confirm the loading bay and truck height before moving day.
On New Year’s Eve the RTA closes the Boulevard, Burj Khalifa Street and nearby roads in phases from around 4pm, and car parks may be hard to reach. We don’t book Downtown moves on those dates.
Dubai Mall and Dubai Fountain crowds build from the afternoon into the evening, and weekends are busiest. Morning starts beat Boulevard traffic.
How it works
A clear plan from survey to the last box unpacked.
In person or by video — we check volume, lifts, access and anything that needs crating.
A written quote, crew size and truck plan for your moving window.
You apply for the Emaar permit; we supply our company and supervisor details and confirm the lift slot.
Room-by-room packing, with floors, lifts and corridors protected before anything moves.
Loading in sequence, transport, reassembly and placement to your plan, with packing waste removed.
Building guide
Downtown has low-rise blocks, 50-floor towers and branded residences within a short walk of each other. Each one moves differently.
Tell us your building name at the survey. We plan the truck, crew size and timing around its access, not a generic tower plan.
Smaller buildings in a traditional style, with courtyards and narrow lanes. Lifts can be smaller and the carry from the parking point longer, so we measure both.
Residential towers on the Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard loop. Loading is usually from a basement or rear bay, with the service lift booked through the permit.
Towers of 50 floors and more, where one service lift can serve many floors. We pack the day before so the lift slot is used for loading only.
Address and other hotel-run residences share lifts and entrances with guests. Expect stricter hours, protection rules and supervision. Ask the concierge early.
Towers with offices, shops or hotels share their loading bays with daily deliveries. Morning slots fill first.
Moving-day timing
Downtown is Dubai’s events district. A date that suits you can be a day when the Boulevard is closed or the car parks can’t be reached. Check the calendar before you fix a date.
The RTA closes roads around Burj Khalifa in phases from around 4pm, including Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, Burj Khalifa Street and Al Mustaqbal Street. Emaar says car parks stay open, but access may be restricted. Clean-up continues the next morning.
Concerts, fireworks and public events around Burj Park and the Fountain can bring closures or heavy traffic at short notice. Check RTA and Emaar announcements the week before your move.
Dubai Mall and the Fountain shows draw crowds from the afternoon. A truck stuck in that traffic can miss the end of its lift slot.
Many leases end at month-end, so lift slots in Downtown towers run out first. Mid-month weekdays give you the widest choice.

We avoid them — roads around the Boulevard close for big events. We’ll suggest a better date.
Emaar’s own move permit has not carried a fee. Some buildings ask for a refundable deposit or charge for lift protection, so ask your building management what applies. Outstanding service charges on the unit must be cleared first.
Often, yes. Old Town buildings are low-rise, and lifts can be smaller and the carry from where the truck stops longer. We measure lift and door sizes at the survey and plan more carry time.
